Corona emergency aid: solar for health stations
In the partner countries of the Stiftung Solarenergie (Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia) rural health stations for the local population are the basis for medical care.
These health stations are particularly important for the goal of slowing or preventing the spread of the corona virus.

We switch the light on

The people in developing countries do not need our alms. They need our competence to develop their own abilities, to strengthen their own initiative and thus improve their living situation themselves.
We combine social and financial sustainability:
- We install solar systems in rural areas.
- We provide micro credits.
- We train solar technicians.
- We create sustainable jobs.
Training creates jobs

For many young people, the high demand for solar energy offers the chance of finding a job. The prerequisite is a good education, in theory and practice.
Especially for solar technicians we have developed a dual training concept, unique in Africa, which combines theoretical training in solar technology and management with internships in a local solar company. This increases the chance of finding a job after the course.
